I went to portrait painting last night and the model was very beautiful. I enjoy painting people and try to make the composition of portrait painting more interesting. I am also very interested to know if this kind of portrait painting is marketable. So I am going to do a test. I will auction out this painting with very low starting price, and see how it goes.

It's beautiful, but as to the marketability, I'm hoping you'll let your readers know if it sold. The reason I'm asking is, I'm questioning the balance between painting for a market and painting. I'm just exploring. So I'm dying to know. Thanks for your obvious talent and continuing contribution.

Excellent! I think these sorts of portraits have potential - they seem much more intimate and personal than stiff, thoroughly finished pieces. I personally prefer this sketched approach. Best of luck with it!
